Swim Jump Fly has flown
Well, hello. It has been a while. How have you been?
In the ten months since I last posted, I’ve been writing a book. You may remember it’s based on my research interviewing 108 people going through shifts and is called Swim, Jump, Fly: A guide to changing your life.
I’ll admit it was rather a steep climb to get it done. For the uninitiated, once you have completed the hard graft of writing a book, your work has barely begun. When I finished writing in February, I naïvely thought publication was just around the corner. Little did I know it would take six months to get the cartoons drawn and fact check, sign off interviewee quotes, edit, proof-read, design, print and then deliver the book.
However, that is all behind me now and I’m delighted to say that Swim, Jump, Fly is finally out in the world. Last week I celebrated the book’s inaugural flight at a book launch, with friends, family and colleagues, along with my book club focus group (people who were helping me to refine the book).
So, I bet you are asking, “who is the book for Charlotte and what will they get?”
